We Going Up Is More Than a Saying

We say “We Going Up” in my family, and I mean it.

Going up does not mean pretending everything is easy. It means deciding that where you started does not get to decide where you finish.

I think a lot about building. A book starts as words nobody else can see yet. A business starts as an idea. A community starts with a few people deciding they want something better and then doing the work to make it real.

That is what I want Delores’ Angel to become. Not just a place where my books sit on a page, but a place where people can read, talk, create, learn, and find something that moves them forward.

And behind all of it is Builder’s Hand. That is the bigger vision: young people learning how to build, work, create, earn, and see a future for themselves.

We do not have to have every step figured out before we begin. We just have to keep building the next one.
